Hi there 👋! I’m Jingyao, currently a PhD researcher at the Institute of Digital Sciences Austria (IDSA). My research focuses on multimodal information fusion, with a particular interest in the efficient representation and collaborative modeling of cross-modal data in the context of geographic information systems and artificial intelligence.
I received my Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Laboratory for Media Computing at Hefei University of Technology in June 2024. My graduate research explored topics such as low-light image enhancement, computational photography, 3D object detection using LiDAR, and few-shot learning. Before joining the Institute of Digital Sciences Austria (IDSA), I worked at Meituan’s Daojia R&D platform, where I contributed to the design and development of large language model (LLM) workflows for robust and scalable AI pipelines. Afterwards, I joined ByteDance and was involved in the development of Trae IDE, an AI-powered coding assistant aimed at delivering a smart and efficient programming experience.
I’m proficient in multiple programming languages, including Python, Java, JavaScript, and Swift, and I have experience working across domains and platforms. Outside of research, I have a deep passion for soccer, marathon running, and fitness — activities that enrich my personal life and contribute to my physical and mental well-being. Music is both a source of relaxation and a form of self-expression for me. I’m also fascinated by travel and eager to explore the world, experiencing and learning from diverse cultures. FC Bayern Munich and Liverpool are my favorite football clubs — they represent top-tier football artistry and constantly inspire me to strive for excellence and pursue my dreams. My life motto is “Infinite Progress!”, which drives me to challenge myself continuously and reach ever-higher goals.
